Osama Bin Laden – why would we want to see a picture of him dead?

For almost ten years, Osama Bin Laden was the symbol of evil. Everyday since Sept. 11, 2001, the world wondered what he and his followers would do next. In removing OBL from this world, we have eliminated this hateful icon. I do not support killing as a means of vengeance or justice (both require focusing on the past, instead of on the future), but I am happy that the maliciousness of the man is gone.

I, for one, do not want to see photos of him dead. To me, there is no reason to see the human indignity of the event. I do not want his removal associated to humanity. He is unworthy of the attention.
